Terms and conditions of membership with Glen Waverley Junior Soccer Club

  1. I agree that that my child’s image maybe used by the club to promote both the club and soccer in general.
  2. All registered players are covered by Football Federation of Victoria’s group personal insurance whilst playing and training. Glen Waverley Junior Soccer Club will not be liable for any injury costs not covered by this insurance.
  3. Players accepting membership to Glen Waverley Junior Soccer Club are allocated to a particular team at the discretion of the club, its coaches and its general committee.
  4. All players eligible for teams under 11 onwards are strongly encouraged to attend dedicated assessment grading days to ensure they are played in the appropriate team.
  5. Parents of players are required to co-operate and facilitate with the committee of the club by assisting with specific activities before, during and after official games. These activities will be in accordance of a roster system, as devised by the team manager.
  6. Members agree to pay all fees promptly with the terms advised annually unless otherwise agreed upon by the Glen Waverley Junior Soccer Club committee.
  7. Members who decide to cancel their membership during the season are only entitled to 50% refund of their Registration fees if they have been registered with Football Federation of Victoria for the upcoming season and the Home and Away season has commenced - up to deadline for Transfers.
  8. The club reserves the right to suspend or expel any player or member for failing to abide by the rules, regulations and codes of behaviour. Expelled players will not be entitled to any refund. Please refer to the Clubs Code of Conduct document.
  9. Players will not be permitted to train or play unless their membership fees have been paid in full. The club reserves the right to withdraw any player or team that has not paid in full all membership fees before the season has commenced
  10. Players from age groups under 9 to 18 will be given one pair of socks and shorts for their game day uniform. These items remain the property of the player. The club will loan each player a game day playing shirt and it must be returned back to the club at the completion of the season.
